Project Mission:

The Joint-Venture exp/IBC Ltd was contracted for Contract management, engineering, control and supervision for the rehabilitation of Mukungwa, Gihira and Gisenyi Hydro Power Plants.

Deliverables:

  • As it is report
  • Schedule of quantities;
  • Estimation of the costs of carrying out the project;
  • Drawings and documents issued for calls for tender and construction;
  • Report presenting the review of tenders received;
  • Site Guidelines and Notice of Contract Amendments to the Company;
  • Approval of workshop drawings and manufacturers’ drawings;
  • Report on the analysis of the proposed samples, the technical data sheets submitted, and the proposals for substitutes for the materials or equipment and the written recommendations following these analyzes;
  • Report on lists of works to be completed and snagging lists for minors rectifications to be done;
  • Monthly progress report in seven copies in schematic form and as much as possible by standardized tables, with summary comments on the site situation, no later than the 10th of the month following the month;
  • The minutes of the weekly and monthly meetings and the provisional and final acceptance report will also be transmitted to EWSA;
  • Report on the evaluation of the training given to the persons concerned will be drafted and handed over to the EWSA Directorate;
  • Final inspection report;
  • File of Executed Works (DOE);
  • Construction closure report (five copies in draft and seven copies in final version) to be sent to EWSA. It shall be drawn up after the pronouncement of the definitive acceptance and the approval of the general and final statement.

Current Status:

The project is 100% completed. The provisional reception was done on January 22nd, 2016; The project was under 18 month guaranty period (until July 21st, 2017).
